As both Robin & Valerie we’re now both working full time on the nursery, they had introduced shrubs & tree’s, Valerie’s speciality to the range they offered & the business quickly developed. They also found they were moving more & more down the hill as they expanded into producing their own bedding plants.

A delightful experience, visited at Christmas and it was awash with trees, lights etc. had been there in late spring as well when they have an excellent selection of bedding and perennial plants available, all healthy & worthy of buying. As the menu selection it was amazing & worth every penny. A family run business, friendly helpful staff - what more you ask for.

THE CAFE : overpriced afternoon tea, staff who will not listen/appreciate or take on board that people have dietary problems therefore limitations, on menu.
We recently visited asked for a round of simple cheese& onion sandwiches and one of ham with two slices of cake plain sponge
Ended up with curled up selection of sandwiches, cream cheese ham etc., and masses of cakes FULL OF CREAM which is the component THAT COULD NOT BE EATEN , hence the original request
For this unedible, good for the birds meal £15 was charged, making it the most expensive cup of coffee EVER !!!!
