Second visit in a week. Disappointed that the male member of staff that calls out your shopping to the lady on the till didn't know how to wear his mask properly again. It's supposed to cover your mouth and nose not your chin.

I bought 12 boxes of Busy Lizzie about six weeks ago . The plants looked beautiful, very strong and healthy. Within a week of keeping them in my greenhouse, the pale pink and lavender ones started to wilt and look very sorry for themselves. I have had to throw the bulk of them away which is very disappointing, I have replaced them with some from my local Morrison’s which are far superior and cheaper. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just my bad luck. I’m no newcomer to gardening as my father had his own business and I grew up with it.

I tend to do the rounds and visit several garden centres throughout the year - it's always good to see what's available elsewhere but I always return to Hampson's for the best garden products and prices. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly when I've needed assistance or advice and seem to have a good level of knowledge (by my standards anyway!)
The café/restaurant and other areas are good. My only gripe might be that the pound shop side tends to give a down-market feel and the recorded product promotion audios are annoying.
