Hansons Garden Centre

My wife and I haven't visited this garden centre for well over a year, and we were pleasantly surprised! We first had lunch in the blooming cafe, which was really good, I had the homemade steak pie with thick hand cut chips, vegetables and gravy, and my wife had the warm coronation chicken tortilla, which she said was the nicest wrap she's ever had, it came with a simple side salad and homemade coleslaw. It was very reasonable too, with 2 earl grey teas and a jam and cream scone to share the bill came to less than £15, far cheaper than some in house cafes we have visited. The staff were polite and friendly and the place was spotless. We bought our patio plants and some houseplant from the good selection on display.There is also ample parking and all areas were wheelchair accessible, which we appreciate as my wife uses a chair.All in all a great visit and we certainly will be going again soon.

i bought some lovely autumn plants and compost which was very nicely brought to my car for me, and had some yummy homemade cake and hot chocolate in the well presented coffee shop before we left. Shame it's not closer to us in Preston.
