Website is pretty useless if you wish to buy something specific, e.g. a terracotta pot (which they stock but don’t mention) and the shop on the telephone just about as bad, with no desire to be helpful to a customer or pass on would be customer comments to management.

I am so impressed with this centre, immaculately clean and tidy everywhere, friendly and helpful staff and the best organized place re-covid preparations that I have been to since this appalling epidemic has descended upon us. Thank you, and would you please forward these comments on to all concerned at the Eastbourne branch of Hillier's.

The centre is very good although some prices seem rather high. The range of goods are quite considerable and the plants of a good quality. The garden centre itself has a large range of plants. The one criticism I would make, and is one I have brought up before, is the fact that the restaurant part does not cater for gluten free which I feel in this day and age is not acceptable. A small range of bread, sausages and cakes would benefit immensely .
