Wonderful garden centre, quite unique and a million miles away from the corporate monoliths that are common place.

Used their online plant ordering, horrendous! Give the impression they care about the customer service then when there's a problem do not want to know. Even wrote to the founder of the company, he didn't even reply!!!

I love this garden centre and happily travel from Newcastle upon Tyne to visit it.After a 2 hour drive there is nothing nicer than sitting on the balcony with wisteria flowers(at the right time of year)framing the view over the garden to the hills beyond. After some tastey food and a good cup of coffee you will need at least 2 hours to see everything.The prices for trees, shrubs etc is very reasonable.I particularly like to stock up on their grasses and ferns because they have an unusual collection and they always grow well in my garden
