The nursery is approx 700ft (213m) above sea level and as you can imagine the winters are long and cold. The plants we produce (with a few exceptions) are hardy on the nursery indeed many of the varieties are planted in the garden.

Lovely little nursery in the very pretty village of Tissington. Good range of plants all look nice and healthy. Hardy and perennial. Bought from many times and always do well. Reasonably priced and very helpful, knowledgeable owner. A real gem!

If you live at the 1000ft level, then this is the nursery for you. The plants are grown properly, not forced. They will do well in your garden; not die or go into shock for a month! Good variety, plenty of interest.
