What do you think about Aigburth Hall?

This independent garden centre is run by the lovely Husband and Wife Team. Aigburth Hall Nurseries, like many businesses, has really struggled with the impact of Covid-19 but have adapted brilliantly to try and serve the needs of their loyal customer base, as well as ensuring that customer and staff safety is at the heart of what they do. With no staff in, and only themselves working tirelessly 6 to 7 days a week, they have fought hard to keep the business running and to implement the required social distancing practices. Hours and Days worked have needed to fluctuate and where ever possible their opening hours have been updated via Social Media (mainly Facebook and their website) As in common with many other businesses, their opening times appear on a plethora of sites (many not verified by the Company) so may well vary. But most customers like myself recognise that in these very difficult times, not every administration detail can be adhered to and many opening hours will fluctuate, at short notice, during this time. I have always been delighted with my purchases and wonderful service at this garden centre and would not hesitate in highly recommending them to anybody who wants Quality, Value for Money Products and reliable, friendly service, from a local shop. Please bear with them during this difficult time as they are fighting hard to keep the business going, for their many loyal customers (myself included) and for their staff.

This was my first outing in 76 days and I'm 79 years old and have been terrified to go out. My daughter phoned this nursery and Dobbies to get the opening hours. This nursery was constantly engaged so she went on Google and it said it closed at 5pm. I needed lots of plants so I decided to brave this new world and go out to this nursery.
There was a woman at the gate who told us they were closing at 3.30. When my daughter explained that it should have been clear on the Google she got a mouthful of abuse. Told us we weren't welcome anyway and to go somewhere else. My daughter told her to grow up and she was just disgusting the way she spoke to my daughter. I will recommend you don't go here. We didn't even get through the gate and I did not expect the abuse from this woman. Absolutely dreadful.
