Plant of the week: New Guinea Impatients

New Guinea Impatiens are one of the most floriferous and colourful bedding plants introduced during the last 20 years. They come in all colours except blue and true yellow and some have beautifully variegated foliage. They are more sun-loving than other Impatiens (Busy Lizzie’s) and require moist soil and regular feeding.

Plant in clusters of three or more in beds and borders or singularly in containers and hanging baskets.
