we found blackacres by accident but really glad we did we don,t buy plants as were not green fingered at all, but we have brought several different fish from them all fish being very healthy.they also stock anything you might need for your tank.they have a great range of pets of there own to look at aswell which you don,t expect when you walk in.recently i rang them as i,m looking after my daughters pet cornsnake as i was a bit worried about it, the information they gave me was very knowledgeable and they put my mind at rest all in all a great place to visit and buy plants fish and the more unusual pets deffo deserves 5 star rating

If you need some plants that will grow, Blackacres is the place to go. No fancy prices, no fancy pots, just great value plants that are healthy and survive. None of those dried out plants that you buy at the supermarket that have a less than 50% chance of survival. These are well tended, and therefore cost much less than the others. Take the family, visit the reptile centre, look at the exotic fish and birds. Buy a cheap cup of tea without being hustled. A good all round nursery.

i have been buying plants and shrubs here for over 25 years. everythign is great condition and survives! very very reasonable prices and nice freindly staff. go visit and enjoy!
