We've lived in the area for quite a while but never tried Braceys. Kim saw an ad in the local paper and we decided to give it a go. The direction signs and entrance did not have "kerb appeal" . We almost did not go in! But wow when we got inside the place is packed with some great stuff and some really nice, well priced plants. At the back thee is a kettles garden furniture centre with lots of discounted patio sets etc. The cafe " lavender tea room" was quiet when we went but the food looked great, a nice range of clearly home cooked lunches. It was time for tea for us so we had drinks and a couple of yummy cakes! The team in the cafe and the nursery were really friendly and helpful. So all in all we enjoyed our visit and picked up some nice plants, we will definitely go back. Thanks Graham & Kim

Our visit to Bracey's was pleasure in the extreme. The array of available plants, flowers, herbs and garden furniture was amazing considering what appears to be quite a small Garden Centre and I was able to purchase everything I wanted. We obviously took the opportunity to visit the Restaurant, which again was such a pleasant surprise, no massed produced quick microwaved food, but home cooked, wholesome and very affordable. We finally ended up in the Gift Shop where, here again, other pleasures awaited with everything from fine leather goods to excellent cards and wrapping - something for everyone - we could have stayed all day and we will certainly return.
