We have been customers at Honeybourgh Garden Centre for over 20 years, and have spent thousands of pounds here over the years. However, on our most recent visit, the staff were more interested in closing up. We were asked to leave at 4.45pm and again 5 minutes later, the lady didn't offer to help us, but made clear she was not paid past 5pm, and wanted us gone. We spent over £90.00 on this visit and were hurried off the premises at 4.55pm. It wasn't even closing time. I think the staff need to be reminded about the reason they are paid to be there, to make sales and provide customer service. We might have bought more had we been allowed to browse longer. Staff here never offer advice about the plants you buy, or ask if they can provide assistance to find what your looking for. I could order plants online, but I choose to come here as I enjoy a pleasant hour strolling about looking at plants, and I am supporting a local business and also for GOOD SERVICE - is it possible to get some?

Always find the staff here extremely helpful and cheerful - the plants are of a very high standard - well maintained - and do very well once transplanted at home in ,y garden.
Can thoroughly recommend it.
Cafe has a good variety of foods (hot and cold) on offer. Service is good - a great place to meet up with friends.

Janet Bevan is a very good worker here, she gave me great advice about what flowers to buy this season. Also, she is a very polite lady who was happy to help with great enthusiasm. Personally, she should get a pay raise lol :)
