Planters Garden Centre - Tamworth

I visited last week with some friends and on entry asked lady at desk about updating my Planters 60 card. She was really abrupt and told me to come back on Wednesday no smile or sorry! We walked further into where the Christmas decorations were being dismantled there were not very clear notices about reductions so I asked another lady who again was very abrupt and just said there was 20% off no smile as though we were in her way! Did not give a very good impression to new customers. The only lady who had a smile and very pleasant was Phillipa in the restaurant. I don't usually write on these sites but felt I needed to on this occasion.

Quality garden centre, shame about the restaurant. Arrived at restaurant at 12.55pm, eventually served meal at 13.35pm. The club sandwich bottom layer of toast very soggy, as though had been standing around a long time. The omelette very flat and chewy, not light and plump as it should be. Also appeared to have been left standing. Cannot believe that all serving staff were taken off serving meals to clear up cluttered tables. Would I go to garden centre again Yes, but restaurant No. Restaurant was excellent before XXX amount of money was spent on a refurb.
