Summerhill Garden Centre

I bought 6bags of J.Arthur Bowers seed and potting compost from Summerhill's nursery earlier this week. When I opened the compost, it was saturated and smelt dreadful. I called into Summerhill's on Friday morning and mentioned that I was not happy with this compost to a nice young lady who was very polite and sympathetic, she called a manager who on arrival, was straight away on the defensive, no apology, in fact he actually said to me I should have checked it before I left............really.......I wonder how many people open their bags of compost to check ....I was so angry I refused to have any more dialogue with him. On leaving we saw a man who looked like a manager and mentioned the conversation I had with the previous so called manager, he said they had had quite a few complaints about the compost and if I like to bring the bags back with the till receipt he would refund my money.......I wonder how many people keep till receipts for compost. That will be my last visit there.
