We have visited Whitegates on 3 occasions now and not been dissappointed. It is beautifully laid out and there is a wonderful choice of gifts and plants. The cafe is very popular the food delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. My husband is a Coeliac and their gluten free menu is good. We love the gf battening! Well done. We were certainly be back when in the area again.

Visited 05.08.2023 for the first time on the way to visit family. Superb food and drink from the cafe, all home-made and delicious served by friendly and efficient staff. Good selection of outdoor products and plants.

Visited Whitegates for the first time after reading about it in the Northern Echo, we had a lovely lunch in the cafe and the food and service was excellent. Great shop and plant selection. I would say one of the nicest garden centres we have visited. Will definitely be going again.
