Today The garden centre is run by the same family with the same passion for gardening. Friendly Helpful staff are there to serve and offer advice on all your horticultural needs. Nestled inside the shop is the Gardeners Retreat Tea Room which provides hot and cold meals and delicious homemade cakes.

This is chiefly a plant centre, with a cafe and a small section of choice other goods. We are totally loyal to this family run centre where we are known and recognised. The shop is always orderly and the plants well displayed and of a good quality. There is always some one at hand to answer any gardening queries and they are willing to order any special trees/plants they may not have in stock. I appreciate most that it really is a garden centre and not a fancy goods outlet. It is good to be able to sit down with a nice cup of tea and one of their excellent cakes after a stroll round the centre.

My husband &I have been using scothern garden centre for many years The plants we have bought have been top class the staff are very friendly & very helpful the plants are very well displayed now we sometimes need help to put heavier items in the car they are more than willing to help us with this .the cafe is very good too the staff are very friendly.
