Will never visit barnett hill garden centre again, I visited yesterday and it has never looked so shabby,. I asked a lady who worked there why it looked so bad? She said that all the good staff have been made redundant, and that they couldn't cope on the staff levels. I asked a gentlemen outside for the wall flowers and he pointed to the snap dragons, when I explained that they were snap dragons he replied " no we ain't got non then". Does he know what a wall flower is? I was also looking for for furniture covers and once I found someone I was told that they had none! So left without buying anything. I rang up to complain to the garden centre but the phone rang out for 10 minutes. No answer. Not going here again I'm off to webbs.

I have visited the nursery including the coffee shop for many years, we have always found it very easier to park especially with three young children and a baby, the parent spaces are wonderful. My children have always love seeing the animals and fish and loved looking at the wide selection of toys and games. The clothing in store including the joules range is fantastic and the gifts on offer are in par with the other larger garden centres. The staff are always helpful and friendly in store and the selection of plants and gardening equipment on offer are very good quality and good value for money. We are members of the club which sends offers and emails to us and are always very good, especially the activities for children and there recent mad hatters tea party which my children loved very much, it was a brilliant idea. The coffee shop is very clean and food is fantastic with special offers throughout the week, the staff are lovely and very helpful . I always recommend it.
