My family and I visited here for some summer plants and lunch.
We found a lovely selection of baskets and tubs,and headed to the blooming cafe for lunch. Wow! We were very impressed ! We had the homemade soup-pea and mint which was delicious,followed by cheese and onion pie,which was very tasty and the children had lovely sausages and homemade chips , we couldn't resist dessert and had jam and cream scones and coffees,while the kids played on the swings-we will certainly be back-it is a hidden gem!

The garden centre really good. The lady at the counter pleasant and helpful. But the café! The waitress was not very efficient. Only four customers in the place and tried to serve us the others order. The salad on our toasted sandwich was fresh and good, but the cheese was awful, tasteless and cheap. Maybe who runs the kitchen should taste whats ordered! The bread was too thin, so the sandwich went cold very quickly. The coffee was lovely. But will not be eating again there unless the quality and standards improve. To top it all a workman went in the kitchen! Will still buy plants as the choice and quality is really good. The web site is really good, and well presented .

Had an overall great shopping experience, very polite always there to help staff sorted out my plant dilemma. Stopped for lunch and the food was excellent and well priced. Highly recommended.
