Dropped in today for gift vouchers and decided to go for a late lunch
As we walked into coffee shop area the smell of urine was strong (you passyiolets on the way to entrance)
We ordered food a sandwich and a soup which took over 15 to come it wasn’t over busy
The sandwich was good but the side salad had seen better days
The soup was piping hot just how I like it but the doorstep of bread to with it wasn’t fresh
I think this has to be the most expensive pot of tea for two in Fife £4.40
My husband went to toilet before leaving and was disgusted
Needless to say we won’t be back

Very disappointed, won't be back. Had been given gift vouchers as a present and decided to use some of them on our visit yesterday. Shopping came to £14.96 so handed over £20 in vouchers. Stood for a while waiting for either a credit note or change, moved to the side as there was a queue forming. The young girl who served me signed off from the till and started to walk out, my husband queried about the change to be told they don't give change from gift vouchers. As far as we could see, there were no signs informing customers of this, the girl when cashing up didn't even say that we still had £5 to spend and did we want to go and get something else or take one of the vouchers back and pay cash for the balance!! On reading the back of my remaining vouchers when I got home, it does say it is up to the retailers discretion if they give change from vouchers but to not even explain this to customers at the time of using them is very poor service. Basically they've had £5 of my money for nothing! Wonder how many other customers have had this happen to them??

nice selection of goods on offer, staff friendly and courteous, no loud music. Good selection of plants, nice cafe
