A long-established family business offering excellent service in every way. Once when about to buy a new rake I mentioned that I'd had the old one for many years, having inherited it from my father, but that the handle had snapped and I couldn't get it out of the head. They wouldn't let me buy a new one for £22 but instead insisted on mending the old one and charging only £2.
On another occasion I was about to buy three decorative trees but mentioned that I'd have preferred smaller ones so I could watch them grown. I was offered small ones, with all three costing less than the price of one big one.
Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff, who are always available to offer advice on all gardening-related topics.
All plants look very healthy, which you can't say for all garden centres.
Plenty of parking and easy to find, just off a junction with the A1, although I live locally and have been many times.
