What do you think about Brick Kiln Garden Centre?

Words defeat me-unable to decide whats worse the quality of the plants or the disinterest of the staff. Obviously NVQ's are not part of the training, the so called manager floats about unable to give sound advice, never again.

We have found Brick Kiln to be one of the best Garden Centres for plants. The prices cannot be beaten in our estimation so i would not go anywhere else. We have bought plants there herbs and anything else we have been looking for. But we could not find the right coloured single geraniums we wanted but we are only talking about 1 item here so no problem. We have also bought garden table and chairs at this centre. The cafe has always been good although only had snack & coffee which has always been a bargain. But has changed hands for some reason. Previous girls were really friendly. All in all cannot complain and we travel 12 miles to visit so cannot be bad. Staff always friendly and helpful!

Parking easy and pleasant. Staff excellent in the plant section, but let down by disinterested staff at tills where much more gracious help would be appreciated. Shopping experience could be improved in all retailers if there were an occasional bench to rest on.
Well stocked and pleasantly organised outside, though unbearably hot inside in summer . Brick Kiln often tries to please, which is why it is my first place to try for plants.
