Not happy with Cafe. Cups dirty and scones like rock cakes. Staff excellent and helpful. Will not be returning there.

Some of the staff are knowledgable but others definitely not. Not a garden centre for keen gardeners. They seem to have decided they can make more money out of people who want a pink or white plant rather than those who have knowledge of what we want. Vry poor care information, with info displayed about the plant that was previously there. No-one cares. Please return to displaying plants alphabetically. It is infuriating to be told by a member of staff that they have a plant but it has been moved since the last time they saw it. Also why have plants flowering in the display beds but none for sale? Repeated complaints by myself and others produce no response. A shame as this used to be a great place to buy plants. The cafe is excellent. I have just dug up a bed and will prob spend about £1000 on new plants. But not here.

I visited the Petter Hill site with my wife last month and bought 2 barrows full of plants etc. Upon getting home we found that a we had 7 instead of 8 plants so my wife visited them on the Monday to request another and was confronted by a booted & suited manager who embarassed my wife in front of the everone at the checkout by implying that she was telling lies over a £2.99 plant. We have used Millbrook since they started at Petter Hill spending around a £1700.00 a year on plants and bird seed.
I will not be using them anymore, we now use Woodlands at Ash
