Half Term Family Fun - Wild Woodlands at Halloween
27 October – 4 November
If you’re feeling brave pick up one of our spooky Halloween monster trails or take part in a scary storytelling session. There will be plenty of indoor crafts and workshops to keep the family entertained in any weather.

Growing Soft Fruit*
Saturday 3 November, 10am – 4pm
RHS members £40, non-members £45
Find out how to select, grow and harvest soft fruit, such as strawberries, currants and cane fruit, and learn how to successfully combat pests and diseases that are likely to spoil your crop.

A Berrylicious Garden
Friday 2 November, 2pm – 3.30pm
An RHS horticulturist explains how to create a mixed berry garden in Harlow Carr’s Plant Centre.

Christmas Craft Exhibition
10 – 25 November, 10am – 4pm
With a wide range of modern crafts, made by hand and sold by the maker, you’re sure to find extra special and unique gifts for Christmas. Exhibitors include jewellers, felt makers, textile artists, card makers, photographers, furniture makers and many more.

Growing Top Fruit*
Saturday 17 November, 10am – 4pm
RHS members £40, non-members £45
This workshop will take you through selection, planting, pruning and training methods for top fruit, like apples, pears, plums and cherries, as well as harvesting and storage tips.

An Introduction to Alpines*
Saturday 24 November, 10am – 12pm
RHS members £40, non-members £45
This practical workshop is a beginner’s guide to alpines. During the session you will plant your own small alpine display to take home, and will also enjoy a guided tour of Harlow Carr’s stunning Alpine House.

Christmas Arts Exhibition
27 November – 9 December, 10am – 4pm
Back again by popular demand, the arts exhibition will showcase the very best artists from around the region, making perfect gifts for loved ones or for treating yourself.
