I visited here a few times the first visit the coffee shop closed due to mouse and rat problem,second visit my daughter had mildew on her vanilla slice , third visit the manageress was extremely rude and to be honest they are very over priced.a few of my husband friends have visited this garden centre and will not return there as were served stale cakes and very rude manageress when reported problem to her.

Even thuogh we live locally this was our first visit.
Just a browse together with coffee & a cake but will certainly visit again.

I visited the Garden Centre at Christmas, with my Wife. The last time I visited was some 25 years ago.
The visit (2012) was very enjoyable. i loved the changes, it was Christmas personified. the Gift shop had a great selection of different things( bought a few too). I was very taken with the Outdoor section - especially the large metal animals arrayed within the plant area. I wanted all of them, but stayed realistic. The additions to the Centre i.e. The Antique shop, Tropical Fish Centre and the Crystal shop were a welcome surprise which added to the enjoyment of the visit. By this time I was hungry, so a visit to the eatery beckoned. I had an excellent curry, huge portion and tasty in the extreme. My wife not being as hungry opted for sandwiches which were also excellent. Staff were first class; friendly, and knowledgeable. Whilst I was not in the market for plants, I will return to sample all that is on offer and purchase. Visit soon you will not be disappointed - guaranteed !
