Amazing day out!!! It's like going to a free zoo!
Staff are very friendly and knowledgable on everything, especially the two young girls who work on birds and the boy with the ginger beard! ... And the girl in the yummy shark bait cafe!
I love going there! Great on prices and worth a visit if you haven't been before =)

Porton garden centre is very bad. They have a lot of livestock, a lot of livestock with not enough staff to look after them properly. The reptiles are not looked after well enough, and they even sell a lot of lizards that are sick and ill with mbd (metabolic bone disease) as I bought one from here and it died soon after because their staff know NOTHING about the reptiles. If you want healthy reptiles then I strongly suggest that you check out dps exotics, amesbury. It has a good selection of livestock reptiles, much healthier and professionally looked after than porton.
I even had a young girl who works in porton telling me that bearded dragons live for 25 years, which is completely wrong and she must be stupid as she also sexed the male completely wrong as she did not even get him out of the viv, she just looked through the glass and guessed. Porton, I would suggest you sack her as she knows nothing and is giving porton an even worse reputation. Very disappointed.

Fantastic customer service ! Especially from Doug and Tom . Knowledgeable and very helpful with good advice to ensure any pets that you buy there are kept in optimum health. ,this is why i wouldnt go anywhere else , they even offer phone support if you are worried about a pet. Vast and varied amount of stock, would not hesitate to recommend them.
