Having chosen Sefton Meadows GC to view the range of plants etc we were looking for, for our new garden/ home we have not long moved into, i have to say the experience was both pleasure but with a lot more pain. The gentleman wearing a navy blue fleece who looked after your external plant section was very tentative and polite, indeed we came away having chosen a number of plants costing approx' £65, but on the way through to checkout saw some lovely Nickel coloured solar lights with £2.99 on the sticky price tags on each of the 7 we picked up. After going through the checkout, i noticed we were charged £4.99 each and therefore £14 over. I went back into the store to be greeted by a woman dressed in black who asked if everything was all right to which i showed her the receipt and pointed to the ticket prices. She immediately said to me that she couldn't sell them at that price and someone would get sacked if she did. All i asked was that the ticket price was £2.99 what was wrong to whic

Dropped into Rosie's Garden Restaurant the other day for a bite to eat when my wife and I visited Sefton Meadows Garden Centre. It's a lovely place and the staff were so pleasant and the food was really nice. We both went for the omelette with 2 fillings plus chips and salad which was very nice, plus a cup of coffee and a pot of tea. We both thought the price was very reasonable. After our meal we went for a wander around the garden centre which was well stocked and had anything you could wish for in a garden centre.

Will not be visiting here again
