Good - on the whole, but some rocky patches in customer service. Staff are generally pleasant, friendly and helpful - but manager needs to go on a customer care course. Some things can seem petty - like a reward scheme complementary coffee voucher that can only be used midweek and in the morning. Why - other than to aggravate loyal customers.
Having said that the good news is that general staff are great, plants always healthy and at good prices compared to the Tesco-owned Dobbies down the road. Christmas is brilliant with great stock at good value prices displayed with style.
Coffee shop is pretty good - witness the car park numbers near lunchtime.
Support an independent garden centre - you don't want to lose it.

My 81 year old mother returned a faulty christmas garland (lights didn't work) Unfortunately she didn't have the receipt; well at 81 you can't remember everything.
I have no issue that she couldn't have a refund but she was given a credit voucher that is valid for 6 weeks. Obviously in the hope that she never spends it.
Really poor and unhelpful service.
Such a shame; we won't go back there; not even to the tearoom; I don't want to support a business that takes advantage of elderly people and frankly are rude.
Dobbies offer a much better service anyway.

my partner and myself were Made to feel very unwelcome when we stopped in to the silverbirch garden centre at crossford, less than 30 seconds in the garden centre, a spineless fraction of a man was ordered by the head of gestapo to follow my partner and myself around the shop. we have shopped there several times and had no problems, but we must not fit the customer requirements anymore! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!!!!
