Since purchasing, the garden centre in 1998, it has grown substantially! It now includes a large, unique gift shop known as ‘So Gifted’, a welcoming cafe, a professional aquatic centre, a plant nursery, a children’s play area and a growing number of retail concessions which help to create a small shopping village which is of great delight to our customers.

Came on a visit today with my grandmother in law, my partner and my niece and nephew. Brilliant garden centre however it is strongly let down by the customer service received by the cafe. This is not the first time I have left the cafe feeling very embarrassed and upset. On this occasion I have a one year old and a seven year old with me. The only table available seated four people therefore I needed to place a high chair on the end, when I asked a member of staff of this was okay she very rudely told me it was the main walk way to the till however upon looking around I saw many opportunities to gain access to the till. She said I could place the high chair there but if she needed me to move I'd have too! Upon feeling like an inconvenience, I pack up and put our coats back on and made a swift exit. Once again I will not be trying this cafe until the staff learn customer service skills. Such a shame as it lets down a beautiful well maintained family garden centre.

The only thing to spoil my visit is the Disabled parking, its OK for two dinky cars come on get real people some of us need to open our door wide to get out of our car.

Visited the cafe for lunch with friends. Lovely clean & welcoming dining area. Plenty of tables avalable, decent menu with unique smaller portions of meals choices available as well as real vegetarian options. Polite & helpful staff.
Drinks brought to the table along with cutlery & condiments & the food followed fairly quickly. Good quality, good sized portions & the vegetarian curry is just spicy enough.
good value for money.
