Have used this shop for years. Is my first stop whenever I need pots, compost etc. Is also good just when I feel like a mooch

My car recently broke down close to Vermeulens Garden Centre. The weather was awful so rather than sit in the car and wait for the AA, we popped into the garden centre. The manager was so helpful - offered us a seat by the fire and to make us a warm drink. Very unusual these days to get such hospitality and exceptional service. We bought some lovely gifts whilst there and shall certainly be going back there for more gardening products in the future - once I've paid for the car repairs !

Visited this afternoon after hearing Steve Allen talk about you on LBC. LOVE YOUR SHOP. VERY reasonable prices, VERY helpful lady when I was asking her about growing potatoes. Man offered to help and indeed took my bags of earth to the car AND loaded them in. If only all stores had this much customer services.
