Visited today with my daughter, who hadn't been to the "new" Redfields. I'd been, probably about, twelve months ago when I last visited and vowed never to go again, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Lovely range of gifts; the inside gardening area and outside planting looked most attractive - very green and the plants looked well cared for. We didn't stop for refreshments as I'd been so disappointed last year and it would appear from recent comments that things haven't improved.
During our last visit, my husband and I found the food to be expensive for what we had and we were lucky to find a table that had been cleared. In the time spent,, which would have been nearly an hour, I think one table was cleared. Appalling! Will certainly visit Redfields again, but will definitely not eat, in your most attractive eating area. Such a pity to let yourselves down in such an important part of the Redfields experience!!

We are garden centre buffs! We found this to be one of the best we have ever visited ! Well done to all concerned in making it such an enjoyable experience.

The Garden Centre is delightful with a great range of products. However the cafe is a nightmare. It looks beautiful and the seating are is very stylish. But there the positives end. The function of the different sections is confusing - and no-one is on hand to direct you. The food is overpriced and there is no choice of size of coffee - the cups all equate to a 'small' - for a 'large' price. The staff don't appear to have had any 'customer service' training with no sense of urgency. I gave this feedback the week the new cafe opened and have since seen many similar comments but it's still the same. I think some one in management needs to see past the stylish decor and walk in the customers shoes. Come on Blue Diamond Redfields - this could be a great experience rather than a disappointing one.
