3 Shires Garden Centre is located in a peaceful rural setting just outside Newent, Gloucestershire, and close to the borders of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The towns of Gloucester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Malvern, Hereford, Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye all lie within short and easy travelling distance.

Large garden centre with a good selection of plants. However, please do not go into the shop area unless you are prepared to be bombarded by multiple TV screens blaring out different ads for a multitude of products i wanted to buy some metal plant supports but was surrounded by approx 5 different screens, all loudly advertising different products (it wouldn't have been so bad had they been advertising the same product and were in sync with each other). Ultimately they lost a sale because I just had to leave that area. I mentioned it to the checkout assistant when purchasing my plants, to be told that other customers had complained. It does not make for a pleasant, relaxing shopping experience.

One of my favourite garden centres. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the café is pleasant.
However the main reason that I rate this garden centre is the quality of the plants. They are attractively laid out, always look well cared for and represent excellent value for money. The indoor areas also stock a wide range of items so there is plenty to look at. I have recommended this garden centre to a number of friends and they have all responded favourably after visiting.

The center offers a wide range of plants displayed,, generally by category, in a well laid out areas. A range of rare and exotic plants are available. The indoor area offers a huge range of gardening and general products for both garden and home. A small deli offers a range of local and other produce. The Gallery Restaurant and Cafe is well worth a visit, as is the water garden and fish department. One warning; Leave yourself enough time to see it all and enjoy.
