Find your garden centre

Rating

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Chester and Wrexham, Grosvenor Garden Center is easily accessible from the motorways and major routes in both Cheshire and North Wales.

It acts as a destination center and offers a wide range of quality products all year round. The center has an extensive furniture collection, one of the most extensive plant departments found in any garden centre, and a wide range of home and garden products, including many well-known brands.

The food department specializes in locally sourced produce, with fresh, seasonal produce arriving every month. The center is always looking for unique and special items for customers to take home and enjoy.

A significant proportion of the available plants, trees and shrubs are grown in Britain. The center is so confident in the quality that they provide a five-year warranty on all hardy plants and trees. Customers just need to keep their receipt and the center will keep its promise.

We enjoyed our first visit to this garden centre. Not that we bought that much - it’s pretty expensive but there seem to be some bargains you can pick up. We got a beautiful Camelia that was £10 reduced from £20 and is now (February) already thriving after being planted in our garden. Picked up a couple of very nice, reduced, indoor plant pots too. The cafe was clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. We only had tea but it was served in a huge pot that allowed us three cups each. We will definitely visit again

Firstly when my husband and I shopped at the garden Center we were over charged by quite a bit it was only that my husband queried the amount that it was checked and my husband was given the extra back. We were very disgusted with the assistant whom had been asked to go and fetch a copy of a children’s book of which we were told there were ten copies of in the ware house. We paid for our shopping including the book which had been damaged with the dust cover being very badly ripped . We waited and waited. I am disabled and use a crutch to walk with I was by now in pain there was nowhere for me to sit down so I asked my husband to go and ask where the book was ? I had notice a staff member walking back and forth getting bags ect for the staff member whom had serviced us. On my husband asking if the book had been found that it was the staff member whom was to fetch the book stated that she had looked but there were non left . We were not far from the till. That we had used but at no time were we approached to inform us that there were no books even though the competitor stated ten copies were there . There was no apologies at anytime. I do not belive the staff member had not bothered to look at all for the book . The staff are giving the appearance of not having had any suitable training of how to deal with customers or how to have and use manners.

A very nice garden centre plenty of plants and good quality. Food at cafe - a very good choice. Found staff to be helpful. Visited a garden centre near Chirk that was terrible, place was almost empty. Will be back again soon.
