Bernaville Nurseries

I went with a friend to get shrubs and plants from Bernaville recently and had excellent service. It was raining and we were not sure where some of the plants were but a young employee came to help. He not only came with us to the right areas but gave advice and alternatives when needed. He came with us to the till area and then got boxes in which to hold the plants and took it all back to our car and packed them in for us. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but we were so pleased with his knowledge and help. Thank you Bernaville.

A very lovely all-round garden centre and a great place to while away a few hours! Good amount of parking, convenient location just outside of Exeter, on a good road. Lots of items other than plants, which is great if you are a plants person and other family members are not. Good restaurant with a wide choice of foods, with a facility to sit outside on a nice day and the restaurant overlooks a garden area. Large plant purchasing area, with good choice, I would say reasonable prices given the great quality of the plants. All the plant care items you could hope for, including some very pretty pots to display them. Garden ornaments, fencing, seating, rocks, chippings, etc. Beautiful china, conservatory type ornaments, cushions, etc. Garden tools also. Loads of books. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I visit this place often - I think it is a fantastic addition to what Devon has to offer. Bonus - as much of it is covered, you can happily go on a wet day!
