Bodnant Garden Centre sells a wide range of plants, specialising in unusual shrubs, many of them propagated by Bodnant Garden Nursery Ltd. from stock at Bodnant Garden. Many rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, including hybrids originally produced at Bodnant, can be bought here. Also for sale are many of the more popular plants, such as herbaceous and bedding plants, herbs, climbers, etc.

I do not wholly agree with the write up or the other reviewer. Bodnant itself if a magnificent treasure trove of rare and unusual plants. The plant hunting visitor to the nursery will be very disappointed that virtually none of the really choice plants are available to buy. They tend to sell only the stuff they know will sell in reasonable quantity and the centre itself is quite small and offers a limited choice. It is a great pity because the gardens themselves will appeal to true "plantspeople" and will whet your appetite in anticipation of being able to return home with some truly rare and unusual plants. Sadly this will not happen.

The garden centre mostly sells the plants in the garden itself. There are some great quality hardy perennials and rhododendrons. Staff were very helpful and brought down a plant from the greenhouses when I asked for something specific.
