Pretty good all round with a good variety of goods and plants. Restaurant is good albeit waiting time can be poor when busy. During transition from old owners the centre took a dive but has rebounded and staff and management have put a lot of work into making the centre pleasant for customers. One major improvement would be to get WiFi for customers, similar to their other stores, as currently the area has no internet capabilities and I'm sure this restricts a lot of young mothers from attending and using the play zone facilities for kids.

Once upon a time Brookes was a garden centre, not any more. Now the most important thing is their food sales and clothing, what this has to do with serious gardening I cannot fathom. Even the quality of their plants is now poor and over priced. This spring I wanted to buy some leek plats there was no indication of what variety they were and when I enquired with a member of staff he just said "they are leeks" not helpful at all. Today I phoned to ask if they (still) sold greenhouse glass and clips, alas no more. Staff knowledge is zero stock is rubbish or nonsensical the whole experience is a waste of time. Will Wyevale stop buying up garden centres and nurseries and turning them into department stores with little or no function whatsoever.
