What used to be a good garden centre is now by far one of the poorest contenders in the area. My last visit wasn't great, standards have slipped, the place looks even more shoddy and run down. What put me off first was seeing a huge Christmas display when it is still summer, it's obscene at the beginning of September! Entrance area ok when you walk in, good selection of bulbs, walk through to the rest and it's a hotch potch mess. Daren't try the cafe as it was so awful last time. Outside area sparse, displays not stocked, broken signs, derelict tree area, dwindling choice of plants, alpines sat in an inch of water as was everything else. Local youth club seemed to be serving at the tills when they could be bothered, OFF PUTTING! Ordinary bedding plants £3.25 tray, most places you can get them for £2. I'd give this place a wide berth, you won't enjoy it unless you like a basic tatty offering. Owners can't read these reviews or they're in complete denial! Won't visit again. Ever.

Visited the cafe... nice,y served. When the bacon sandwich arrived I could hardly cut it in half as the bread was so hard.
Then I saw all this fat that hadn't been taken off the bacon. It really was not good. Couldn't finish it. . Very disappointing
