Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered two large bags of rock salt on Sunday to be delivered on Monday (£5 delivery). I specified that these should be left outside garage or on a white sink near garage. I returned home on Monday to find two bags of salt sitting on my doorstep blocking access to my front door! I had to struggle to move these extremely heavy bags, I am 72 years old and small with shoulder problems. One bag had a tear and salt was escaping. I called the garden centre but it was just before 5 pm and I got no reply. I rang up this morning and was put through to the manager? I explained my displeasure and was told "well it was left by garage" I explained that it was not in front of garage and was blocking my front door. Any fool should have realised that. I explained the struggle I had to move the bags and was told in a surly tone "couldn't you have got a neighbour to move it" By this point I was extremely angry at this persons' terrible attitude. I also explained about the torn bag and was told nonchalantly that this would have happened while they were handling it. I said that I felt that I should have a refund for the delivery and for one damaged bag and was basically laughed at Eventually I was told I could get the delivery charge back if I came in for it and then told "goodbye" and the phone put down on me. Needless to say I will not be using this garden

Just been to this garden centre and was greeted by the most rude aggressive lady I have ever met. What made it worse was I had my 4year old granddaughter with me. On arrival the lady must have heard me say to my granddaughter let’s find the fish, And she shouted over her shoulder YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT I AM BUSY. When she did acknowledge me it was clear she was not interested because as I told her I wanted a couple of gold fish and her reaction was YOU CARNT HAVE ANY FOR A WEEK UNTILL YOUR TANK IS SORTED. And it will take a week before that would happen. I had already contacted the Garden Centre and was told that they advice 24 hours however it was just advice. I pointed out that I was surprised because as a child I often got gold fish from the fair etc. her response to that was, SO WHAT SO DID I. Her voice and attitude were rude and aggressive so I just walked out before she could up set my granddaughter any further. I will never set foot in this garden centre again and will also inform family and friends about my experience. Absolutely disgusting behaviour especially in front of a child who was so excited about buying a gold fish.

A real shame this garden centre seemed to have taken its eye off the ball. Whilst the cafe was good, food, service etc, the plant side was very mixed. House plants dead or dying & a very poor range. The only high point were the plants outside, good strong healthy looking plants and reasonably priced. The place is too bitty and needs to have a more a more defined approach.
