Just been to this garden centre and was greeted by the most rude aggressive lady I have ever met.
What made it worse was I had my 4year old granddaughter with me.
On arrival the lady must have heard me say to my granddaughter let’s find the fish, And she shouted over her shoulder YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT I AM BUSY.
When she did acknowledge me it was clear she was not interested because as I told her I wanted a couple of gold fish and her reaction was YOU CARNT HAVE ANY FOR A WEEK UNTILL YOUR TANK IS SORTED. And it will take a week before that would happen.
I had already contacted the Garden Centre and was told that they advice 24 hours however it was just advice.
I pointed out that I was surprised because as a child I often got gold fish from the fair etc. her response to that was, SO WHAT SO DID I.
Her voice and attitude were rude and aggressive so I just walked out before she could up set my granddaughter any further.
I will never set foot in this garden centre again and will also inform family and friends about my experience.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour especially in front of a child who was so excited about buying a gold fish.

A real shame this garden centre seemed to have taken its eye off the ball. Whilst the cafe was good, food, service etc, the plant side was very mixed. House plants dead or dying & a very poor range. The only high point were the plants outside, good strong healthy looking plants and reasonably priced. The place is too bitty and needs to have a more a more defined approach.

What a tardis this place is, a great place to both eat and spend an afternoon , we went on mothers day and what great service . Food was hot and homemade, staff very helpful and polite nothing was too much trouble , the prices we found to be very reasonable ,the coffee was quite mild although it looked strong , so any one who is not sure then all I can say is go for it you will not regret going
