Hexham, Northumberland is home to the Down to Earth Garden Centre. They offer good quality plants for your garden and not only plants. They also sell, compost, bark, fertilizers, garden equipment, watering solutions, lawn care, onion, shallots, pots, lighting, wild bird supplies and much more. Trading since 1991, they can offer some great gardening tips too, look at the website for more information. Great small local garden centre, really helpful staff, convenient location, near Hexham town centre. Good quality products and plants. Please note opening times are not as stated on this website, check the centres own site for information so a simple not to be disappointed.

Visited this evening for the first time, to purchase a christmas tree. The tree is beautiful (and was beautifully priced!), and amazing quality, and the service of the gentleman who we bought from was outstanding, we will most certainly be back; if not before then definitely to buy next years tree.

A great range of stock and extremely helpful gardener s who are always ready to give advice and to help carry heavy goods, such as compost, to your car. Parking is quite limited but the centre is unable to do anything about this. Well worth a visit.
