Downtown Garden Centre

We drove to Downtown to look for a shrub for a friends silver wedding. The place looked very shabby and run down plants lay all over the ground there was no one to ask directions and the only rose that could have met our requirements was covered ingreen fly and looked very sad.

Appalled paid alot for a Rhododendrun last year didnt keep receipt was told that it guaranteed for a year if not longer. Within the year it died. I contacted supplier who suggested i contacted Downtown and return for exchange or refund but that they didnt supply there anymore. I telephoned and spoke to gentleman explained problem with plant DEAD, explained supplier didnt supply there since i purchased and the gentleman working there agreed and suggested to take back in a bag and would look at it and give exchange as they didnt do that plant or supplier anymore but could get something else in exchange. I did we drove an hour and half the Downtown and saw a lady explained all details again but she reluctantly would do anything. I argues explained i had telephoned nursery of the plant that supplied them and she deliberatly argued they didnt supply for some years which is total lie. I bought it last year from there. Will never buy from there again. BEWARE IF YOU BUY ANYTHING KEEP RECEIPT.
