I regularly eat ,with my friends, in the cafe. We are always more than happy with the choice of food....especially the breakfasts! The different desserts are lovely,a plate with a small selection on would be great as we can never decide what to choose! The staff are lovely and friendly even if we are ready for breakfast before they are officially open! Our only criticism is that they don't have a grill which doesn't allow for certain foods, such as cheese on toast etc. I recommend Foster's to all my friends for eating out. The garden centre is lovely and competitive prices make it a first choice for plants and garden ornaments. The gift department is far too nice for my bank balance, particularly now as they have their Christmas decorations on display. All in all, this is definitely a place to visit for food, gifts and plants. I can't recommend this place enough

I have known the Foster organisation long before they entered into the garden centre business and have always looked upon them as being both highly professional and efficient. Today I visited their garden centre and, whist being impressed by the lay out of the centre and range of products carried, I was appalled by the attitude of the staff. Granted, we did not arrive at the centre until 16.40 but consider that a member of staff should have politely told us that the centre was due to close in 20 minutes instead of that,it was obviously of more importance for them to turn off the show room lights than to give consideration to customers. I made it known to the staff that their prime interest seemed to be to close at 5pm and we left feeling totally disenchanted. If a Mr Foster still exists then I suggest that he reminds his garden centre staff that they need us rather more than we need them. Very disappointed.
