Golden Days Garden Centre

My husband and I have only visited a couple of times, and each time we have been appalled by everything, there is no way we will be visiting again, the staff were miserable, the outside was unkempt, plants on their sides, a horrid smell outside which we couldn't locate, and the back of the outside was a dumping ground for rubbish and plant stands, the cafe was closed before it's closing time, the carpets were ripped in the inside, it was very unorganized, and very very disappointing... The only pleasure we found was the resident cat, who was friendly and followed us around wanting fuss. Will definitely not be back.

I visited Golden Days Garden Centre for the first time mid September. The website phographs are nothing like the reality of the site. I was shocked to see a poor selection of very poor quality garden plants, most of them looking scraggy and half daed. A lot of the plants in pots were laid sideways, left where they had fallen over the old wooden tables and messy uneven pathway. If you want a good selection of healthy quality plants this is NOT the place to go. The only customers there appeared to be OAP`s in the small cafe.
