A very well laid out garden centre with lots of good quality healthy plants. A good day out with lots to see inside and out. Try to visit at least twice a months so not local to us.

I would of given 5 stars for the service, but unfortunately the colleague (woman short dark hair and glasses), who was displaying the jewellery on Sunday 18 December 2016 at 3.30 was very rude. My friend intended to purchase a gift from this section and the colleague displaying the jewellery did not even acknowledge my friend or even say sorry would you like to look , we had to look over her to browse. I know that staff have to put out stock but surely when customers try to browse you would think if she had common sense to move out if the way. I myself work in retail and would not even act this way to a customer. So Gordale I think that this colleague needs to have a course in basic customer service.

Gordale is a delight to visit. So many things to see apart from beautiful plants and useful garden equipment. A refreshing cup of morning coffee or a yummy afternoon tea with friends may be enjoyed in their light and airy cafeteria and gifts for all occasions may be found on their extensive retail floor. Go on spoil yourselves!
