The inception of the Heligan Gardens was carried over twenty-five years ago. These beautiful gardens were long-lost under a sheet of weeds and tangled shrubs. In the wake of restoration, the Heligan Gardens were discovered. It is among the largest gardens in Cornwall.

Absolutely amazing place ... The herbs on sale were fantastic, I didnt even realise how many varieties there are. I bought quite a few plants here and the Peppermint plant has given me plenty especially using it in my bath water along with Lemon Balm. I now have an awesome herb garden planted in some old pallets ... I would recommend a day trip here as there is so much to see and do, even if you have well behaved dogs and children ... You can gain valuable ideas for your own garden and buy home grown plants at their nursery. You can even pop into Lobbs and buy some local honey ... Beautiful place I visit time and time again.
