Highfield Nurseries & Garden Centre is renowned for growing their own plants and they continue to do so. They offer top quality plants at excellent prices. They are based in Whitminster in Gloucestershire and are easily accessible. They also offer a Privilege card which will keep you going back for exclusive money saving offers. They also have a great range of clothes, giftware, books, fragrances, a food hall and both outdoor and indoor furniture. It seems there will be something for everyone. If you’re not up for shopping you could sample some of their delicious food from their restaurant which is located on site at Whitminster too.

I have been visiting this gardening centre for years when it used to be a small nursery with a cafe.Staff have always been helpful, friendly & knowledgeable.Plants are healthy & good quality.Prices reflect the quality of the products, particularly when it comes to the restaurant. The carvery, whilst it has increased in cost, produces higher quality food than other venues. There is always a marvellous selection of of vegetables & tasty gravy. Definitely the go to place for Sunday lunch & be prepared to queue, it’s that good!

Lovely place to go with not only garden produce but other little shops within. Gifts, fashion, shoes (Pavers), furniture etc., etc., and a wonderful restaurant. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Dog friendly too (even in the restaurant). Go there almost every week, sometimes twice a week!!

A nice centre with a good of stock and concessions (Aquatic World , EWM, good kitchen shop ( better prices than many.). Excellent selection of oak house furniture and good range of garden furniture. Pet shop (inhouse). Hoood variety of plants that always look in excellent condition, obviously well tended. Recently expanded into large newly built area which, when in full use, will give a lot more display space. Currently being fitted out. New restaurant, also recently built. Food is average and not cheap, but you can sit by the window with a view over a lakeside area in which ducks and geese provide great interest. But the biggest attraction has to be Maddie, a spectacular parrot who lives in an enclosure near the tills and has a wide vocabulary when in the mood, attracting admirers from young and old. Overall, a very nice centre which tries to be different ( even includes the local post office)
