Langlands Nurseries is a family run Garden Centre complete with Coffee Shop, Farm Shop, Outdoor Living, Nursery and Giftware. We have a store in Shiptonthorpe, York and another in Whinmoor, Leeds. Come and visit us we are open every day of the week.

Nice garden centre BUT!! Visited here yesterday with a friend and 1st impressions were good with some nice plants, although not the cheapest. Good food in the restaurant at a fair price but wait for food was horrendous and tables not cleared - people were asking for their money back as couldn't wait any longer. We then went back to car park for a cigarette - big mistake as we were promptly told off by a surly member of staff and informed Company policy is no smoking ANYWHERE on the premises including the car park. Shame there were no signs saying so. Evidently this does not apply to staff as around the corner in the car park there were two staff smoking away! The final incident was when we came to pay for our purchases and were mischarged. I politely pointed this out and was informed, somewhat aggressively, that this was correct. This carried on for about ten minutes until eventually they agreed to check. Surprise, surprise we were right. No apologies were forthcoming.
