I have once again taken up aquarium keeping after a few years away with all attention being focused on my garden pond. Returning to Littleheath Garden and aquatic center some years after my last visit, I am amazed at the size and transformation it has taken on. The aquatic products / fish stock are excellent and i will no longer go elsewhere. The staff are super not only super friendly, but very knowledgeable too. We have been regular customers to the cafe for the last 6 months, bringing my father out for lunch. He has been in hospital so we have not visited for the last few weeks and today was our first visit back. We did wonder if we were in the right place. Firstly the cafe was very quiet when usually you have trouble finding a table. On ordering his usual favourite Cheese Omelette with chips and peas we were informed that we would have to purchase the omelette with peas and then buy a bowl of chips. This cost a hefty £8.50 in total. I was asked if this was "all right" to which I replied that it had to be if he wanted chips with his omelette. The prices have all gone up since our last visit and whilst I understand that costs go up to pay wages etc. I still believe that shops must give value for money. Compared with what other Garden Centre Cafes charge for omelette and chips Little Heath is not giving the value that they used to.

Lovely garden centre, lacks a little organisation but staff are very friendly and helpful. Staff at tills could do with a chair to sit on, would make them more approachable. Thanks for a lovely visit, will be back soon.
Usually enjoy our visit to the garden centre and then for a coffee afterwards. Very disappointed to overhear as we queued to be served that there was no milk available so only black tea or coffee was on offer or a cold drink! Assistant seemed put out that we were even there as it seemed to interfere... Read more
Usually enjoy our visit to the garden centre and then for a coffee afterwards. Very disappointed to overhear as we queued to be served that there was no milk available so only black tea or coffee was on offer or a cold drink! Assistant seemed put out that we were even there as it seemed to interfere with her taking her food break out the back . We perservered and bought two slices of cake and counted at least 8 people turning away as not being able to take refreshment. Considering all the people milling around out the back I was amazed no one could pop out to a nearby shop and buy a pint. Read less
