I visit regularly with my disabled charge who adores the fish in the aquatic centre then cake afterwards. I have been impressed every time with the level of friendliness and helpfulness from all staff. I wish I had got the name of the young man helping me the last two times whilst hiring a wheelchair as he went above and beyond to help us, including holding the wheelchair for me. Couldn’t have been more grateful and will be returning.

Lovely garden centre but the restaurant leaves a bit to be desired my self and 5 friends were there on 18 November and we saw a deal for a roast dinner and desert 2 for £20 but only certain meal so we asked the 2 people serving was the pork roast on the deal he said yes They had a big flashing sign saying about the deal and the manager came over and poited out it was all on a writen sign so we got our meal plus dessert went over to pay and two of us we together and she said £24 I SAID IT £20 the manager then came over and said the deal doesnt apply on Sunday so i said what the boy told us so he did let us have it for£20 but i wish i hadnt bothered the dinner was luke warm the potatoes and parsnips were just shown the oven the Yorkshire was still frozen in the middle and veg was overcooked the dessert was ok it took the taste of the dinner away never again But i wonder how many people paid over the odds and didnt realise if they had a few items

I was very disappointed when visiting Polhill Garden centre today to be treated like a criminal by one of your Staff. I walked through the till area at the front of the building to catch my coach, with my trolley, nothing was covered up and I was pushing it through for an elderly friend, when I was only what can be described as pounced upon by one of your assistants and asked 'have you paid for those' in front of other Customers, when I replied yes I had, she looked at me and I repeated yes I have. She proceeded to say, only we have two tills and I wonder if the soil has been paid for, when I again said that it had she just walked away with no apology. I was going to find someone to complain to regarding this girls attitude, but unfortunately I had a coach to catch. Perhaps if your staff thought that someone was doing something untoward this should be dealt with as discreetly as possible and not in front of other customers, which was very embarrassing.
