I spent a lovely afternoon here today; the setting alone is worth the visit - historic Port Sunlight. This is the ideal place to spend time, rain or shine, as you can browse in the indoor section and then some of the plant area is also under cover. What impressed me most was the outdoor plant area; really well set out for browsing; lots of beautifully planted hanging baskets and floral displays to give you ideas. The restaurant was really good value; daily specials - ie home cooked meals such as pork steak, apple gravy, chips/pots and peas for just £5.99 and rhubarb and cream for £2.40! The staff were friendly and helpful too. Ample parking. Highly recommended.
