Best garden centre by miles. Can’t fault the plants, so many varieties it’s hard to chose & usually end up choosing too many. Lovely staff & very helpful. Would highly recommend

Called into the nursery recently- nothing was priced up so asked female manager spruce of bedding basket plants was told 1.35 spent an hour picking plants from the greenhouse 18-20 plants.Got to the till she said they were 1.85 per plant : not expensive but I had a budget and they were a gift . I did say I’d asked you how much - she agreed I’d asked but didn’t care .i asked could someone show me the 1.35 plants .A man who it transpires is the owner took me to the green house and starts to point out sections were the 1.35 plants were - I said that actually they are some of the plants I’ve chosen he said no there not ( he hadn’t seen the plants I’d chosen) I said honestly they are , he became really quite rude and I felt intimidated and upset he said do you think we are bloody stupid - if you don’t like it go somewhere else . I was mortified I have been going to this garden Center for many years - as I was leaving I told the female manager what had happened and she flippantly responded sorry he's under a lot of pressure..It appears they are not ready to open because of staffing levels the owner did rant that half of his bloody staff are off . I sat in the car park to upset to drive for over 10 minutes. Shameful behaviour and appalling customer service - I
