The Secret Garden

Must leave a good review for this garden centre as they always have something unusual and a bit different , we live about a hour away so always glad when it’s worth the visit and it certainly was ! We went there this week and wasn’t expecting it to be so stocked as just opened after Lock down , but as soon as we walked in something I saw some special trees like you would see in the Chelsea flower show A bit costly but took such a long time grow to the specimen they were it was money well spent , just love looking at them in the garden, I needed to speak to the lady I bought them from and she rang me back with all the information I needed, makes a difference when you buy from a independent garden centre , Thankyou to Rob and Donna for all your help

I attended the Garden Centre with my husband and little boy. We wanted to get a couple of new herbs and also pick up one or two things for my little boy to do in the garden. We were browsing quite happily when my little boy saw a toy tractor just inside an open door. He wandered over to investigate. He's only two and when a two year old sees something that looks fun they want to touch it. He had only put his hand on the tractor when a female member of staff shouted at him "get off, that's not yours". She was quite aggressive. We don't let our little boy run around when we are out and make a nuisance of himself around other shoppers and my husband was literally right behind him but in the two seconds it took my husband to get to him all he'd done was put his hand on the steering wheel. She didn't even allow for my husband to take him away before she shouted at him. If we had allowed him to run around and climb all over the toy tractor I could understand her frustration but he had literally put one hand on it because to him it was a toy to investigate. She was extremely rude and we decided that we would not buy anything purely down to your employee's rudeness and total overreaction. I very much doubt we will visit in the future either.
