Myself & family members meet up here on a Sunday lunchtime , pleasant staff in the cafe , polite . Noticed this morning that there are lots of offers on & new products for sale , often go there on a Monday for 10% off for being over 60 . I think the outdoors is good , considering it's a huge space out there and also tender plants in the inside areas are very good maybe a bit overpriced , but other garden centres are hugely over priced elsewhere . I enjoy just wandering around looking for different things,

I have visited the garden centre in the past and can say I wasnt impressed then with the ramshackle buildings, overpriced plants and the appalling conditions of the animal pens and uninterested staff unless you were spending hundreds of pounds which is easy because everything is overpriced. Visited it again no change boring,vast empty displays bad management.

Visited Whitakers for the first time in December 2012, as i had just moved into the area. As i love all things to do with Christmas decided to pay Whitakers a visit . I was more than impressed on several accounts, the staff were more than willing to help, the display was pleasing to the eye, and it was nice and warm just what you need when its cold outside. The prices were more than fair and the array of goods very impressive. My little Granddaughter loved it all. I have paid several visits since and will be returning for my summer plants.
